Story
In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, is thrust into a high-profile job she is not suited for, with dramatic consequences for her marriage and political future. The British government allowed them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the recently opened American Embassy (Nine Elms), which opened in 2018. Britain allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary’s office, which is rarely granted.
One off-limits location was Winfield House, the actual residence of the American ambassador
Although it is accurately described as being the largest residential property (11 acres) in London, next to Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming. ). I watched “Night Agent” thinking it couldn’t get much better, but I was wrong.
So cerebral and charming
I loved every second of this episode. Everything you could want from a series. The characters and acting were top notch.
I also liked David Gyasi
It was so great to see the delicious reputation of Sewell again and what a role he played, not knowing what he was going to do. Keri Russell was just great as the ambassador. Perfectly acted.
The best political show since The West Wing
Overall a wonderful series, maybe a little short but worth watching. Great!
